Garten im Becher / Garden in a Cup

Ich brauche immer wieder kleine Mitbringsel wenn ich zum Essen bei Freunden eingeladen bin. Als ich letzthin bei Ikea diesen Kräutergarten im Becher sah, dachte ich mir, dass das das perfekte kleine Geschenk für Hobbyköche und Köchinnen ist. Wie ich aber nun mal so bin gefiel mir das Design nicht so, also hab ich mir eine Do-it-yourself Variante überlegt, wie immer ganz einfach ;)

Ihr braucht:
(4 )Pappbecher
Masking Tape oder schönes Papier
Etiketten
ein Stift
Kräuter- oder Blumen Samentüten
Erde
Zellophan oder Tiefkühlbeutel
So gehts:
1) Die Erde in die Zellophantüte oder den Tiefkühlbeutel umfüllen. Soviele Becher Erde abmessen wie ihr verzieren wollt.
2) Die Becher mit Papier oder Masking Tape verzieren
3) Etiketten mit Namen der Kräuter oder Blumen beschriften und auf den Becher kleben
4) Samentüten in den dazugehörigen Becher legen
5) Anleitung verfassen ( schaut auf dem Packet wie tief die Samen in die Erde sollen, wo die Becher stehen sollten ob in der Sonne oder im Schatten, wie lange sie zum wachsen brauchen und wie viel Wasser sie brauchen etc)
Nett verpacken und einem Freund eine Freude bereiten!

Every now and then I need a bring-along for Dinnerparties at a friends place. So I'm always kind of on the look out for some nice little things. So when I saw this herbalgarden in cups at Ikea I thought this would be a perfect gift for hobbychefs. But as so often I didn't like the Design that much so I came up with a do-it-yourself Version of it :)
And here we go...

You'll need:
(4) Papercups
Washi Tape or beautiful paper
Labels
a Pen
bag(s) of herb or flower seeds
Earth
Cellophane bag or deepfreezing bags
That's how to do it:
1) Fill as many cups full of earth in the Cellophanebag or into the deepfreezer bag as you want decorated cups.
2) Decorate the cups with the washi tape.
3) Write the names of the flowers or herbs on the labels and stick it to the matching cup.
4) Put the bags with the seeds in the corresponding cup.
5) Write Instructions ( look at the package how deep the seeds need to be put into the earth, if you should place the cups in a sunny or a shady spot, how long they'll need to grow or how much water they need etc)
Now all it needs is some nice wrapping and you're good to go to give a friend an awesome gift.
